DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Display screen Assessments are required in order to fulfil HSE (Health and Safety Executive) Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992/2002. Sometimes a basic level tick list has been completed (and all items are ticked!), but individuals may continue to be uncomfortable, experiencing back ache, wrist ache etc. Sometimes a wrist rest has been purchased but this can make the symptoms worse!
The Healthywork Ltd DSE Display Screen Assessments include the basics and also ‘best practice’ advice which means that we provide you with extra information which will ensure that individual’s understand how they should be positioned for their body dimensions. This will help them to be more comfortable and prevent ill health and the need for costly specialist equipment or time off sick.
We can perform assessments across the UK, for a number of individuals on the same date at one location, in order that we can deliver these assessments in an economical and timely way to fit with the employer/organisational requirements. Please see the DSE Assessment service for more details. If a more in-depth assessment is required, where an individual has an ongoing health issue with constant symptoms or health professional input has been required, an Ergonomic Assessment is required.
